Differences between cement fiber board and glass magnesium board

The glass magnesium plate is made of the ternary system of magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride and water by configuration and modification. It meets the general needs of the public because of its ordinary fire protection, ordinary waterproof and moisture-proof, green and environmental protection.

1. Differences in raw materials

The glass magnesium plate is the chemical reaction product of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride, which is integrated. Cement fiber board is the aggregate of cement and yellow sand, which is a physical reaction.

2. Color difference

The glass magnesium plate is generally milky white, which is the color of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride raw materials, while the cement plate is the dark color of cement.

3. Difference in density

The density of glass magnesium board is between 0.9 and 1.3, which belongs to light fire-proof board, while the density of cement board is more than 1.5, which belongs to a heavier building material.

The glass magnesium plate can be bent with a diameter of 30cm without damaging its physical properties. Magnesium chloride plate is brittle and easy to fracture.

4. Performance differences

The glass magnesium plate contains free chloride ions, which will corrode steel and metal, while the cement plate will not.

Deep processing performance: the glass magnesium board can be hot pressed with triamine paper, cold pressed with fireproof leather, technical wood, etc., while the cement board is not so widely processed.
