For the use of fiber cement board, how should we install its panel, notch and back bolt hole?

When decorating the curtain wall, fiber cement board is used in many ways. In order to ensure the beautiful installation and meet the construction specifications, how should we install the panel, notch and back bolt hole? Next, let's have a look!

Panel processing requirements:

⑴ The cutting, grooving and drilling of fiber cement board shall be carried out in a dry environment.

⑵ When machining, special mechanical equipment should be used to ensure the processing quality.

(3) If there is dust during cutting of fiber cement board, necessary protective measures shall be taken and necessary dust removal shall be carried out.

(4) The edges of cut and grooved plates must be treated with edge waterproof treatment (silicon water repellent can be applied for 2-3 times).

Notch processing requirements:

⑴ Special mechanical equipment shall be used for notch processing, and the saw blade used for notch processing shall be kept sharp. It is not suitable to use hand-held machinery for processing on site.

⑵ The width, length and position of the notch shall meet the design requirements.

(3) The side of the notch shall not be damaged or cracked, and the groove shall be smooth and clean without visible steps.

(4) The allowable deviation of fiber cement board slotting processing size shall comply with the provisions in the following table.

Processing requirements for back bolt hole:

⑴ The back bolt hole shall be machined by special drilling matched with the back bolt.

(2) The back lines affecting the connection of the back bolt shall be polished, and the polished parts shall be flat.

(3) The number, location and depth of back bolt holes shall meet the design requirements. The diameter of drilling and reaming shall meet the technical requirements of back bolt products. For flush type back bolt directly connected with the back of fiber cement board, the drilling depth shall be controlled from the curtain wall decorative surface to the hole bottom.

For spacing back bolts connected by connectors, the drilling depth shall be controlled from the decorative surface of the curtain wall to the bottom of the hole, and from the visible surface to the bottom of the connector.

(4) The back bolt can be inserted by pressing or rotating, and the fastening torque of the back bolt shall comply with the provisions of the back bolt manufacturer. After implantation, it should be confirmed that the connection is firm and reliable.

(5) The back bolt hole shall not be damaged or cracked, and the hole shall be smooth and clean.

(6) The allowable deviation of the machining size of the back bolt hole shall meet the requirements in the following table.
